Leading cancer charities, LCNUK, Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, EGFR+, Mesothelioma UK, ALK+ and more, are united working in partnership with DaSH Global who have created the app, Your Health Companion.
Your Health Companion is a free, easy-to-use digital diary designed specifically for lung cancer and mesothelioma patients to allow them to accurately record, monitor and communicate how they are feeling. This helps families and clinical teams to understand what impact the disease is having, to improve treatment and care.
The digital diary give patients more control of their care - and the anonymised data collected by the app puts the ‘patient voice’ at the centre of research to assess cancer medicines and healthcare provision. The aim is that this will lead to significant improvements in assessment of new treatment and the delivery of NHS services.
